How it works

1. Activate Skirk Prospector by sacrificing it.
2. When Skirk Prospector dies, Mortuary and Funeral Room trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Skirk Prospector from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Funeral Room trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Cast Skirk Prospector from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns Skirk Prospector into a perpetual engine by leveraging Mortuary to constantly recycle it back to the top of your library whenever it is sacrificed for red mana. Normally, recasting a creature would strain your resources, but Gwenom, Remorseless brilliantly circumvents this by letting you play cards from the top of your library and pay life instead of mana, a cost easily offset by the life gained from Funeral Room // Awakening Hall's right half. As this cycle repeats endlessly, the unlocked Awakening Hall door finishes off your opponents by draining their life total with every single sacrifice.
