How it works

1. Activate Skirk Prospector by sacrificing it.
2. When Skirk Prospector dies, Mortuary and Cauldron of Essence trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Skirk Prospector from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Cauldron of Essence trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Cast Skirk Prospector from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around Gwenom, Remorseless, whose attack ability lets you cast creatures directly from the top of your library by paying life equal to their mana value instead of their normal cost. Skirk Prospector acts as the sacrifice engine, generating red mana whenever it goes to the graveyard while Mortuary immediately intercepts that death by placing the Goblin right back on top of your library. Meanwhile, Cauldron of Essence feeds off the endless cycle by draining your opponents and padding your life total, turning the life you spend to cast Skirk Prospector into a net positive while generating an infinite storm count and endless sacrifice triggers.
