How it works

1. Activate Skirk Prospector by sacrificing it.
2. When Skirk Prospector dies, Mortuary and Daxos trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Skirk Prospector from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Daxos trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Cast Skirk Prospector from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. When Skirk Prospector enters, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the graveyard into a conveyor belt straight back to your library, fueled entirely by the life-generating machinery of Daxos, Blessed by the Sun. By sacrificing Skirk Prospector to its own ability, you generate red mana while triggering Mortuary, which places the goblin right back onto the top of your library. From there, Bolas's Citadel allows you to bypass mana costs by paying life instead—a cost easily offset by Daxos, Blessed by the Sun gaining you life whenever creatures enter or die.
