How it works

1. Activate Skirk Prospector by sacrificing it.
2. When Skirk Prospector dies, Mortuary and Daxos trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Skirk Prospector from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Daxos trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Cast Skirk Prospector from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. When Skirk Prospector enters, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This loop turns your sacrificial engine into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting the interaction between Mortuary and Skirk Prospector, where sacrificing the Goblin to add red mana instantly reroutes it right back to the top of your library instead of the graveyard. Gwenom, Remorseless makes this continuous recycling economically viable by letting you bypass mana costs entirely, paying life instead while you cast Skirk Prospector straight off the library. Meanwhile, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun tracks this endless cycle of arrivals and departures to pad your life total back up, offsetting the life paid to Gwenom's alternative casting cost and fueling the loop indefinitely.
