How it works

1. Activate Skirk Prospector by sacrificing Scuzzback Marauders
2. When Scuzzback Marauders dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. Resolve the Skirk Prospector ability.
4. Repeat.

By enlisting Skirk Prospector as our sacrificial outlet, we can turn any looping Goblin into a wellspring of infinite red mana and death triggers. The true engine here is Scuzzback Marauders, whose persist ability would normally self-sabotage after a single iteration by loading it up with a -1/-1 counter. However, Vizier of Remedies alters this math entirely by reducing incoming -1/-1 counters to zero, allowing Scuzzback Marauders to return to the battlefield fresh and ready to be sacrificed to Skirk Prospector all over again.
