How it works

  2. Put Glistening Oil into your graveyard, triggering itself, returning it from your graveyard to your hand.
  3. Resolve Death Cultist's ability, causing target player to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
  4. Cast Death Cultist by paying B/P.
  5. Aetherflux Reservoir and K'rrik each trigger.
  6. Resolve K'rrik's trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  7. Resolve Aetherflux Reservoir's trigger, gaining 1 life for each spell you've cast this turn.
  8. Cast Glistening Oil targeting Death Cultist by paying B/PB/P.
  9. Aetherflux Reservoir and K'rrik each trigger.
  10. Resolve K'rrik's trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  11. Resolve Aetherflux Reservoir's trigger, gaining 1 life for each spell you've cast this turn.
