How it works

1. Cast Harmless Offering by paying 2, giving Nine Lives to an opponent.
2. Cast Austere Command by paying 4, destroying all enchantments.
3. Nine Lives leaves the battlefield, causing its controller to lose the game.

This clever puzzle relies on shifting the burden of Nine Lives and its dangerous "leaves the battlefield" clause onto your rival. By utilizing Harmless Offering, you safely hand the enchantment over to an opponent while it absorbs damage under their watch. Once it is safely in their hands, casting Austere Command allows you to sweep away all enchantments, instantly destroying Nine Lives on their side of the board. Because the enchantment leaves their control, its triggered ability forces its current controller to immediately lose the game.
