How it works

1. Cast Volcano Hellion by paying 2.
2. When Volcano Hellion enters, it triggers, dealing an arbitarily large amount of damage to you and a creature. The damage that would be dealt to you is dealt to Wrathful Red Dragon instead due to Pariah.
3. Wrathful Red Dragon triggers, dealing an arbitrarily large amount of damage to an applicable target.

This clever loop hinges on the synergy between Volcano Hellion, Wrathful Red Dragon, and Pariah to redirect your own self-inflicted damage into a devastating weapon. When Volcano Hellion enters the battlefield, its triggered ability attempts to deal a massive, unpreventable chunk of damage to you; however, Pariah redirects that self-harm straight to your own Wrathful Red Dragon. Because the Dragon itself is a Dragon taking damage, its static ability triggers in response, turning that massive incoming blow right back around to strike down an opponent for the win.
