How it works

1. Activate Coveted Falcon by paying 1, turning it face up.
2. Coveted Falcon triggers, causing an opponent to gain control of Moderation and causing you to draw a card.
3. Cast Knowledge Pool by paying 6.
4. Whenever the opponent that controls Moderation casts a spell from their hand, Knowledge Pool triggers, exiling that spell.
5. Because Moderation prevents the opponent from casting more than one spell each turn, the opponent cannot cast the spell permitted by Knowledge Pool, or any other spell that turn.

This cunning lock hinges on giving away your own enchantments using Coveted Falcon's disguise ability, specifically slipping Moderation into an opponent's control. Because Moderation's static ability restricts its controller to casting no more than one spell each turn, it completely neutralizes Knowledge Pool's replacement effect when that opponent tries to cast a spell from their hand. The opponent's spell gets exiled into the Knowledge Pool, but because Moderation blocks them from casting another spell to replace it, they are entirely frozen out of casting further spells from their hand for the rest of the turn!
