How it works

1. Activate Spark Double using Avatar Kuruk's ability by paying 20 minus 1 for each creature and/or artifact you can tap while activating it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. At the beginning of your end step, Airbender Ascension triggers, blinking Spark Double. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Avatar Kuruk.
3. Repeat each turn.

This ingenious loop harnesses the immense power of Avatar Kuruk's Exhaust ability—unlocked by transforming The Legend of Kuruk—to take infinite turns, with Spark Double stepping in to bypass the once-per-game restriction by entering as a non-legendary copy that resets its own Exhaust ability. The engine is expertly greased by Airbender Ascension, whose end-step blink continuously exiles and returns Spark Double to the battlefield as a fresh copy of Avatar Kuruk ready to tap down artifacts and creatures to pay the massive Waterbend cost.
