How it works

1. Cast Seething Anger with buyback by paying . Birgi, Blood Funnel and Hermes trigger.
2. Resolve the Birgi trigger, adding .
3. Resolve the Hermes trigger, creating a creature token.
4. Resolve the Blood Funnel trigger, causing you to sacrifice the creature token.
5. Resolve the Seething Anger spell.
6. Repeat.

This clever storm loop turns Seething Anger into a self-sustaining engine by completely eliminating its buyback cost: Memory Crystal reduces it by {2}, while Blood Funnel offsets the remaining {2} for casting noncreature spells. Every time you cast the spell, Birgi, God of Storytelling generates the red mana needed to recast it while feeding your storm count, and Hermes, Overseer of Elpis immediately provides the disposable creature token required by Blood Funnel's sacrifice tax. The result is an infinite loop of creature sacrifices and enters-the-battlefield triggers that also pumps your entire team to astronomical power levels until end of turn.
