How it works

1. Cast Crown of Flames by paying .
2. Birgi and Tatsunari trigger.
3. Resolve the Birgi trigger, adding .
4. Resolve the Tatsunari trigger, creating a 3/3 Keimi legendary creature token.
5. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Keimi, adding .
6. Activate Crown of Flames' second ability by paying , returning it to your hand from the battlefield.
7. Repeat.

This loop transforms the humble Aura Crown of Flames into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting its unique ability to return itself to your hand for a single red mana. Every time you recast it, Birgi, God of Storytelling feeds your mana pool while Tatsunari, Toad Rider populates your board with Keimi tokens. You then feed those freshly minted Frogs to Phyrexian Altar to generate the exact red mana needed to bounce Crown of Flames back to your hand, allowing you to repeat the cycle indefinitely.
