How it works

1. Cast Spear Spewer by paying .
2. Birgi triggers, adding .
3. Activate Spear Spewer by tapping it, dealing 1 damage to each player.
4. Dissipation Field triggers, returning Spear Spewer from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This engine turns the self-inflicted damage of Spear Spewer into a self-contained looping mechanism by taking advantage of Dissipation Field, which immediately bounces the pinging creature back to your hand whenever it deals damage to you. Because Mass Hysteria grants haste, the re-cast creature can tap to repeat the process without waiting, while Birgi, God of Storytelling provides the crucial red mana needed to continuously recast Spear Spewer from your hand.
