How it works

  1. Cast Dargo from the command zone by paying R mana.
  2. Birgi triggers, adding R mana.
  3. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Dargo.
  4. Choose to return Dargo to the command zone from your graveyard.
  5. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  6. Repeat.

This fiery little loop turns your command zone into an endless engine of sacrifice and rebirth. By casting Dargo, the Shipwrecker for a mere single red mana, you trigger Birgi, God of Storytelling to refund your investment by generating {R} with her first ability. Then, you simply feed Dargo to Carrion Feeder, sending the mighty giant back to the command zone so you can cast him all over again to keep the mana and +1/+1 counters flowing indefinitely.
