How it works

1. Cast Dargo from the command zone by paying .
2. Birgi triggers, adding .
3. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Dargo.
4. Choose to return Dargo to the command zone from your graveyard.
5. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Dargo, the Shipwrecker into a self-sustaining engine by repeatedly feeding him to Bloodflow Connoisseur. Because Dargo inherently reduces his own commander tax every time you sacrifice a permanent or creature throughout the turn, you can recast him repeatedly for just a single red mana. As you cast each spell, Birgi, God of Storytelling's triggered ability steps in to refund that exact cost by generating red mana, keeping the cycle infinitely spinning while growing your Bloodflow Connoisseur to astronomical proportions.
