How it works

1. Cast Chromatic Sphere from your graveyard by paying 1 and discarding an artifact land card from your hand.
2. Birgi triggers, adding .
3. Activate Chromatic Sphere by paying 1, tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1 and causing you to draw a card.
4. Scrap Trawler triggers, returning an artifact land card from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This crafty loop turns the graveyard into your personal hand by letting you cast Chromatic Sphere over and over again using its retrace ability granted by Six, discarding an artifact land to pay the cost. As you cast the sphere, Birgi, God of Storytelling rewards your spellcasting with a steady stream of red mana, while Scrap Trawler watches the sphere hit the graveyard and uses its modular recycling to pull that same discarded artifact land right back to your hand. When you activate Chromatic Sphere for its mana and card draw, you net resources and keep the engine humming without ever running out of fuel.
