How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
2. Vodalian Wave-Knight triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each other Knight and/or Merfolk you control.
3. Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Sensei's Divining Top into a self-sustaining engine by letting you tap it to draw itself and place it right back onto the library. From there, Falco Spara, Pactweaver steps in to bypass the mana cost altogether, allowing you to recast the Top from the top of your library simply by paying zero and stripping a counter off a creature you control. Meanwhile, Vodalian Wave-Knight watches every single card draw trigger its ability, steadily flooding your board with +1/+1 counters on your other Knights and Merfolk. If you happen to have Birgi, God of Storytelling // Harnfel, Horn of Bounty on the field as well, every single iteration of casting the Top will even reward you with extra red mana to fuel the rest of your turn.
