How it works

1. Cast Sparkcaster by paying .
2. Birgi, Animar and Tangleroot trigger.
3. Resolve the Tangleroot and Birgi triggers, adding .
4. Resolve the Animar trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. When Sparkcaster enters the battlefield, its first and second abilities trigger.
6. Resolve the second Sparkcaster trigger, dealing 1 damage to any player or planeswalker.
7. Resolve the first Sparkcaster trigger, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand.
8. Repeat.
