How it works

  1. Activate Harnfel by discarding a card.
  2. Glint-Horn Buccaneer triggers, dealing 1 damage to each opponent.
  3. Niv-Mizzet triggers, causing you to draw that many cards.
  4. Resolve the Harnfel ability, exiling the top two cards of your library with the ability to play them until end of turn.
  5. Repeat.

This explosive loop starts by activating Harnfel, Horn of Bounty—the back face of Birgi, God of Storytelling—by discarding a card, which immediately triggers Glint-Horn Buccaneer to ping each opponent for 1 damage. That noncombat damage causes Niv-Mizzet, Visionary to trigger, drawing you fresh cards to feed right back into Harnfel's discard cost. Together, this engine churns through your deck while continuously burning out the table, turning your hand into a lethal stream of damage and card draw.
