How it works

1. Cast Slumbering Dragon by paying .
2. Birgi triggers, adding .
3. When Slumbering Dragon enters the battlefield, Ganax and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
4. Resolve the Ganax trigger, creating a Treasure artifact token.
5. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning Shivan Devastator from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
7. Cast Shivan Devastator by paying 1, causing it to enter the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
8. Birgi triggers, adding .
9. When Shivan Devastator enters the battlefield, Ganax and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
10. Resolve the Ganax trigger, creating a Treasure artifact token.
11. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning Slumbering Dragon from the battlefield to your hand.
12. Repeat.
13. Once you have infinite mana, you may cast Shivan Devastator for an arbitrarily large amount of mana to put infinite +1/+1 counters on it.

This clever loop uses Cloudstone Curio as a bouncing bridge, letting you endlessly exchange one cheap creature for another. Every time you alternate casting Slumbering Dragon and Shivan Devastator, Ganax, Astral Hunter steps in to forge a fresh Treasure token upon their arrival. Meanwhile, Birgi, God of Storytelling provides the vital red mana to keep the casting cycle spinning, leaving you with an endless surplus of mana, tokens, and storm count. Finally, you can channel all that newly minted infinite mana into casting Shivan Devastator for an astronomically large amount, leaving you with an overwhelmingly massive threat ready to soar over the battlefield.
