How it works
- Activate Karn's Bastion by paying 4, putting two charge counters on Lost Jitte and two +1/+1 counters on Cryptic Trilobite.
- Activate Cryptic Trilobite's first ability twice by removing two +1/+1 counters from it, adding CCCC that can only be spent to activate abilities.
- Activate Lost Jitte by removing a charge counter from it, untapping Karn's Bastion.
- Repeat.
This clever engine uses Doubling Season as a passive amplifier to turn incremental counters into an explosive loop. By tapping Karn's Bastion to proliferate, Doubling Season ensures that both Lost Jitte and Cryptic Trilobite accumulate twice as many counters as normal. You can then draw on Cryptic Trilobite's stored energy—fueled by its own mana-producing ability—to pay for Karn's Bastion and to repeatedly trigger Lost Jitte. Removing a charge counter from Lost Jitte untaps Karn's Bastion to keep the chain going, ultimately generating infinite mana, infinite untaps, and boundless counters across your board.
