How it works

1. Activate Tortured Existence by paying and discarding a creature card, returning another creature card from your graveyard to your hand.
2. Desecrated Tomb triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing the creature token.
4. When the creature token dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token.
5. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
6. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the graveyard into a perpetual motion machine by leveraging Tortured Existence to continuously cycle creature cards between your hand and graveyard. As those creatures leave your graveyard, Desecrated Tomb rewards you by spawning a Bat token, providing the raw material needed to fuel Phantom Train's sacrifice ability. Every time that token bites the dust, Pitiless Plunderer steps in to generate a Treasure token, which you can immediately crack to recoup the black mana required to keep the Tortured Existence exchange going. Through this continuous cycle, Phantom Train grows infinitely large with +1/+1 counters while generating an endless storm of triggers for your deaths, leaves-the-graveyard events, and sacrifices.
