How it works

1. Activate Kaya's second loyalty ability by removing two loyalty counters from it, causing you to double any tokens you create this turn.
2. Activate Survey Mechan by sacrificing it.
3. When Survey Mechan dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Survey Mechan from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Desecrated Tomb triggers, creating two creature tokens.
5. Resolve the Survey Mechan ability, dealing 3 damage to any target and causing you to draw three cards and gain 3 life.
6. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the two creature tokens, adding CCCC.
7. Cast Survey Mechan by paying 4.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop turns a modest mechanical bird into a self-sustaining engine of destruction by leveraging replacement effects and recursion. When you sacrifice Survey Mechan to its own activation cost, Mortuary immediately catches it on its way to the graveyard and places it right back on top of your library, while Desecrated Tomb triggers as the Mechan leaves your graveyard. Because Kaya, Geist Hunter has already used her -2 ability to double your token generation this turn, that single departure yields a pair of Bat tokens instead of one. Ashnod's Altar happily devours those two tokens to generate four colorless mana—more than enough to recast the Survey Mechan for its discounted cost, re-stacking the top of your library for a fresh cycle of infinite damage, card draw, and lifegain.
