How it works

1. Activate Prognostic Sphinx by discarding Ovalchase Daredevil.
2. Activate Shilgengar's first ability by sacrificing another creature, creating a Blood token.
3. When the Blood enters the battlefield, Ovalchase Daredevil triggers, returning Ovalchase Daredevil from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Desecrated Tomb triggers, creating a 1/1 Bat creature token.
5. Repeat.

This recursive loop is elegantly fueled by Prognostic Sphinx, which discards Ovalchase Daredevil straight into the graveyard to pay its cost. That discard immediately causes Ovalchase Daredevil's own passive trigger to return it to your hand whenever an artifact enters, but here the loop pivots through Shilgengar, Sire of Famine: by sacrificing a creature to Shilgengar's activated ability, you generate a Blood token artifact that triggers Ovalchase Daredevil's return while simultaneously satisfying Desecrated Tomb. Every time a card leaves your graveyard, Desecrated Tomb passively spawns a 1/1 Bat token to keep the sacrifice engine running, letting you churn through resources to amass an endless tide of Blood and Bat tokens.
