How it works

1. Activate Blood Pet by sacrificing it.
2. When Blood Pet dies, Mortuary and Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Blood Pet from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Cast Blood Pet from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This sinister loop relies on Mortuary to intercept your sacrifices, quietly recycling every creature sent to the graveyard straight back to the top of your library. From there, Gwenom, Remorseless lets you bypass traditional mana costs altogether, allowing you to recast your fodder simply by paying life instead—a cost easily cushioned by the lifegain provided by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. As Blood Pet continuously dies, generates black mana, and returns to your deck, Sephiroth's triggered ability drains your opponents' life totals down to zero.
