How it works

1. Activate Blood Pet by sacrificing it, adding .
2. When Blood Pet dies, Skittering Precursor and Rakdos trigger.
3. Resolve the Skittering Precursor trigger, creating a 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature token.
4. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Blood Pet from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile Blood Pet from the top of your library with the ability to play it until your next end step.
6. Activate the Eldrazi Spawn by sacrificing it, adding C.
7. Cast Blood Pet from exile by paying 1.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Rakdos, the Muscle and Skittering Precursor to turn a single sacrifice into a self-sustaining engine. You begin by using Blood Pet's mana ability to fuel Haunted Crossroads, which returns the Pet right to the top of your library where Rakdos, the Muscle can exile it off the triggered card-advantage effect. Meanwhile, Skittering Precursor rewards your sacrifices by churning out Eldrazi Spawn tokens, providing the colorless mana needed to recast Blood Pet from exile. Because Blood Pet's mana cost is easily paid for and its cycle continuously replaces itself, you generate infinite death triggers, enter-the-battlefield triggers, and storm count without ever running out of resources.
