How it works

1. Cast Blood Pet by paying its mana cost.
2. When Blood Pet enters, Metastatic Evangel triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Blood Pet by sacrificing it, adding
4. Resolve the Metastatic Evangel trigger, causing you to proliferate and put a +1/+1 counter on Evolution Witness.
5. Evolution Witness triggers, returning Blood Pet from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Repeat.
