How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

By pairing Azusa, Lost but Seeking with Ramunap Excavator, you gain the ability to continually replay your sacrificed lands directly from the graveyard on your turn. This forms a perfect loop with Glacial Chasm: whenever you play Glacial Chasm, its enter-the-battlefield trigger forces you to sacrifice a land, but instead of paying its escalating cumulative upkeep costs, you simply let it sacrifice itself to its own upkeep trigger and immediately redeploy it using Ramunap Excavator. Because Azusa, Lost but Seeking grants the extra land drops needed to sustain this cycle alongside your regular plays, you enjoy perpetual damage immunity without ever falling behind on your mana or succumbing to the Chasm's life tax.
