How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

This clever lock uses Glacial Chasm to completely blank all damage dealt to you, ignoring its preventative drawback by simply cycling the land away before its cumulative upkeep catches up to you. Exploration provides the extra land drop you need to keep your mana development moving forward, while Ramunap Excavator acts as the engine's core by turning your graveyard into a second hand from which you can continuously replay the sacrificed Chasm. Because Glacial Chasm sacrifices itself whenever you choose not to pay its rising life cost, you can effortlessly reset its age counters each turn, sacrificing your freshly replayed land and keeping yourself entirely immune to harm game after game.
