How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

This brilliant lockdown loop revolves around recycling Glacial Chasm to keep yourself completely immune to damage without ever drowning in its cumulative upkeep cost. By utilizing Ramunap Excavator, you are able to repeatedly play that very same Glacial Chasm right back out of your graveyard after sacrificing it to its own upkeep trigger. Meanwhile, Rites of Flourishing accelerates your engine by granting you an extra land drop on each turn and ensuring you never run out of fodder to feed to the Chasm's entering-the-battlefield sacrifice trigger.
