How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

This elegant lock completely shields you from harm by weaponizing Glacial Chasm's self-sacrificing nature as a built-in reset switch. By leveraging Exploration to play an additional land each turn alongside Conduit of Worlds, which lets you play lands directly from your graveyard, you can continually feed the Chasm's entry sacrifice requirement without ever running out of real estate. Whenever the cumulative upkeep gets too steep—or simply to bypass it entirely—you simply let the Chasm go to the graveyard during your upkeep, only to immediately replay it and lock down your opponents' damage all over again.
