How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious lock relies on Glacial Chasm to completely shut down all damage dealt to you, insulating you from opponents while you control the board. Normally, the land's severe cumulative upkeep and sacrifice requirement would make it short-lived, but Conduit of Worlds allows you to bypass that penalty by simply replaying Glacial Chasm directly from your graveyard turn after turn. To keep your mana base stable despite the sacrifices demanded upon entry, Case of the Locked Hothouse provides the crucial extra land drop you need to replay the lands you've lost, letting you maintain total protection indefinitely.
