How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

This brilliant defense locks your opponents out of ever harming you by leveraging Glacial Chasm's complete damage immunity while completely bypassing its drawback. Whenever the Chasm's cumulative upkeep threatens to overwhelm your life total, you simply let it go to the graveyard, then use Conduit of Worlds to play it right back out. Rites of Flourishing provides the crucial extra land drop and card draw needed to keep this morbid cycle going smoothly turn after turn, ensuring you never run out of lands to sacrifice or play.
