How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious engine leverages Glacial Chasm to achieve absolute safety by completely blanking all damage dealt to you, while bypassing its steep sacrifice requirement through clever recycling. Because Mole Man, Moloid Master allows you to continuously play lands straight from your graveyard, you can happily sacrifice Glacial Chasm to its own cumulative upkeep—or let it eat the land sacrificed when a new copy enters—and simply replay the Chasm on your next turn. Meanwhile, Case of the Locked Hothouse grants you an extra land drop per turn to keep the rhythm going, and once solved, even lets you seamlessly play lands and cast spells right off the top of your library.
