How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Play any land from your graveyard.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, allowing you to choose not to pay the cost and sacrifice it instead.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious lock uses Glacial Chasm to completely blank all damage dealt to you, bypassing its steep cumulative upkeep by sacrificing the land to its own trigger before things get out of hand. Mole Man, Moloid Master makes this endlessly repeatable by letting you play that very same land right back out of your graveyard on subsequent turns, feeding its landfall ability to flood the board with 1/1 Minions while Captain Kathryn Janeway safely lets you drop an additional land per turn. Captain Janeway's entry trigger also sets off a flurry of exploring to help dig for whatever pieces you are missing, ensuring you can comfortably bunker behind your defenses without ever running out of fuel.
