How it works

1. Declare Altaïr as an attacker. Altaïr triggers, exiling Éomer from your graveyard with a memory counter on it, and then creating a tapped and attacking token copy of each card you own that is exiled with a memory counter on it.
2. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing another legendary creature token except Éomer.
3. When the creature dies, Éomer triggers, untapping all creatures you control and causing you to get an additional combat phase after this one.
4. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
5. Repeat during each combat phase.

This fascinating loop transforms Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad into an endless engine of assault, using Roshan, Hidden Magister's passive grant of the Assassin type so that every creature you own benefits from Altaïr's reanimation triggers. As the token copies of Éomer, Marshal of Rohan enter the battlefield attacking, you can sacrifice them to Umbral Collar Zealot's activation to set up your library while triggering Éomer's untap and extra combat phase ability from the graveyard. Because Éomer, Marshal of Rohan untaps all your creatures and grants you endless combat steps, Altaïr can continually resurrect new legendary fodder to feed the Zealot and keep the chain rolling.
