How it works

1. Give Famished Paladin lifelink, if needed.
2. Activate Famished Paladin by tapping it, dealing 1 damage to any target and causing you to gain 1 life.
3. Famished Paladin triggers, untapping itself.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This engine transforms **Famished Paladin** into a self-contained cannon by turning its own activation into a perpetual motion machine. Because **Famished Paladin** normally lacks a way to ping opponents on its own, **Psionic Gift** grants it the crucial tapping ability to deal damage directly. Whenever that damage resolves and grants you life, **Famished Paladin**'s triggered ability immediately untaps it, leaving you ready to tap and fire all over again.
