How it works
- Activate Eldrazi Displacer by paying 2C, blinking any other nontoken creature you control.
- When the creature enters the battlefield, Blessed Sanctuary triggers, creating two 2/2 Unicorn creature tokens.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the Unicorns, adding CCCC.
- Repeat.
This clever engine spins up by leveraging the synergy between Blessed Sanctuary and Doubling Season; whenever your blinked creature returns, the Sanctuary tries to make a Unicorn, but Doubling Season doubles that down into two tokens. You can then feed those two Unicorns directly into Ashnod's Altar to generate four colorless mana. Since Eldrazi Displacer only requires three mana total for its activation—two generic and one colorless—the Altar's payout leaves you with plenty of leftover mana to blink your creature again and repeat the loop indefinitely.
