How it works

1. During your upkeep, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Kuldotha Phoenix, adding CC.
2. Activate Kuldotha Phoenix by paying 4, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Kuldotha Phoenix enters the battlefield, Blessed Sanctuary triggers, creating a 2/2 Unicorn creature token.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Unicorn, adding CC.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the fiery resurrection of Kuldotha Phoenix into a perpetual engine by leveraging Ashnod's Altar both to fund its return and to turn its rebirths into raw mana. Whenever the Phoenix flies back from the graveyard during your upkeep, Blessed Sanctuary swoops in to cushion the timeline, generating a 2/2 white Unicorn token off that entry. Sacrificing that very Unicorn to Ashnod's Altar yields the colorless mana needed to pay the Phoenix's metalcraft recovery cost, allowing you to cycle the whole process indefinitely for infinite creature sacrifices, enters-the-battlefield triggers, and leaving-the-battlefield triggers.
