How it works

1. Draw a card.
2. Niv-Mizzet triggers, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
3. Exquisite Blood triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
4. Marina Vendrell's Grimoire triggers, causing you to draw a card.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop is a dazzling self-sustaining engine built on a closed circle of life and damage. It all kicks off when you draw a card, which causes Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind to ping an opponent for 1 damage. That loss of life immediately awakens Exquisite Blood, granting you 1 life in return, which in turn triggers Marina Vendrell's Grimoire to make you draw a card and restart the cycle. Because Marina Vendrell's Grimoire also protects you from losing the game with its static ability, the loop can spin endlessly to deal lethal damage and churn through your entire library.
