How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Tatterkite
2. When Tatterkite dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its static effect.
3. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
4. Repeat.

This brilliant loop is anchored by the dual-faced Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight, whose backside grants persist to all your other nontoken creatures. When you sacrifice Tatterkite to Yahenni, Undying Partisan, Tatterkite's persist normally tries to return it with a -1/-1 counter; however, Tatterkite's own static ability steps in to prevent any counters from ever being placed upon it. This harmonious interaction lets Tatterkite return to the battlefield completely unscathed and ready to be sacrificed all over again, generating an endless stream of sacrifice and death triggers.
