How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing The Master.
2. When The Master dies, its second ability triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Cavalier of Night.
3. When The Master enters the battlefield, its first ability triggers, doing nothing.
4. Resolve the Yahenni ability, giving it indestructible until end of turn.
5. Repeat.

This fascinating loop turns The Master, Formed Anew into an immortal engine of destruction by first exiling Cavalier of Night beneath it so it enters the battlefield as a copy. With that foundation set, you use Yahenni, Undying Partisan to repeatedly sacrifice your copied Cavalier, which effortlessly fuels Yahenni's sacrifice outlet while triggering all the death and graveyard recursion you could ever want. Because The Master's unique copy ability allows it to return from the graveyard as that same Cavalier over and over again, the cycle becomes completely self-sustaining.
