How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Serrated Scorpion.
2. When Serrated Scorpion dies, it and Mortuary triggers.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Serrated Scorpion from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Serrated Scorpion trigger, causing you to gain 2 life and dealing 2 damage to each opponent.
5. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
6. Cast Serrated Scorpion from the top of your library by paying 1 life due to Gwenom.
7. Repeat.

This loop turns a simple sacrifice into an endless cycle of life drain and recovery, fueled by the terrifying synergy between Gwenom, Remorseless and Mortuary. Whenever Yahenni, Undying Partisan sacrifices Serrated Scorpion, Mortuary instantly intercepts the scorpion on its way to the graveyard and tucks it right back onto the top of your library. Meanwhile, Serrated Scorpion's own death trigger drains your opponents and pads your life total, providing a vital cushion. That newly recovered buffer allows Gwenom, Remorseless to continuously recast the scorpion from the top of your library by paying life rather than mana, while Yahenni grows ever larger with each iteration to secure the win.
