How it works

1. Cast the artifact by paying 0.
2. Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers, earthbending Arid Archway.
3. Resolve the artifact spell.
4. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Arid Archway.
5. When Arid Archway dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teach triggers, returning Arid Archway from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. When Arid Archway enters, it triggers, returning the artifact cast in step 1 from the battlefield to your hand, as it's a land due to Toph, the First Metalbender.
7. Resolve the Yahenni ability
8. Repeat.

This clever engine turns a zero-mana artifact into an infinite loop by leveraging the continuous type-changing effect of Toph, the First Metalbender, which permanently transforms your nontoken artifacts into lands. While Toph, Hardheaded Teacher provides the continuous earthbending support to animate your lands and bring them back when they perish, Yahenni, Undying Partisan stands ready as the dedicated sacrifice outlet to send those animated lands straight to the graveyard. Finally, Arid Archway ties the entire sequence together by using its entry trigger to scoop the original artifact back to your hand whenever it re-enters the battlefield, allowing you to recast it endlessly for infinite storm count, sacrifice triggers, and landfall.
