How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Marionette Apprentice.
2. When Marionette Apprentice dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Marionette Apprentice enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
5. Repeat.

This loop centers around Marionette Apprentice, whose sacrifice to Yahenni, Undying Partisan triggers a lethal drain on your opponents thanks to Marionette Apprentice's artifact-and-creature-dying ability. While Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight's front side gives your creature spells convoke, it's the transformed Isilu side that does the heavy lifting here by granting persist to all your other nontoken creatures. When Marionette Apprentice hits the graveyard, persist brings it right back, where its fabricate ability immediately drops a +1/+1 counter to instantly cancel out the incoming -1/+1 counter. Yahenni, Undying Partisan happily repeats the cycle by eating the Apprentice anew, turning a simple sacrifice into an endless engine of life-loss and triggers.
