How it works

1. Cast Appa by paying 2.
2. When Appa enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Wispweaver Angel with the ability to cast it later from exile.
3. Cast Wispweaver Angel from exile by paying 0 and tapping Appa and another creature you control.
4. Appa's second ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Ally creature token.
5. When Wispweaver Angel enters, it triggers, blinking Appa.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This infinite loop is masterminded by Hoarding Broodlord, whose static ability grants convoke to every spell you cast from exile—turning your exiled cards into free plays fueled by tapping your creatures. You drop Appa, Steadfast Guardian into the mix using its flash to exile Wispweaver Angel upon entry, setting up a continuous cycle where Wispweaver Angel blinks Appa, and Appa in turn exiles Wispweaver Angel right back. Because Hoarding Broodlord lets you cast that exiled angel for a mana cost of zero using convoke, every iteration loops seamlessly. Best of all, Appa, Steadfast Guardian leverages this endless casting from exile to flood the board with an infinite army of 1/1 white Ally creature tokens while cycling through infinite enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield triggers.
