How it works

1. Activate Auton Soldier using Avatar Kuruk's ability by paying 20 minus 1 for each creature and/or artifact you can tap while activating it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Activate Eldrazi Displacer by paying 2C, blinking Auton Soldier. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Avatar Kuruk.
3. Repeat each turn.

This fascinating loop revolves around breaking Avatar Kuruk's once-per-game restriction by constantly resetting its identity. By using Eldrazi Displacer's ability to blink Auton Soldier, you can reset the copy, allowing the incoming token to safely re-enter the battlefield as a fresh copy of The Legend of Kuruk // Avatar Kuruk. This completely wipes away the activation history of the previous instance, empowering you to repeatedly tap artifacts and creatures to pay the massive {20} cost for Avatar Kuruk's waterbend Exhaust ability without restriction.
