How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Sunbond triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Prosperous Innkeeper triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop is a masterclass in perpetual motion, turning a single instance of lifegain into an unending cascade of growth and creation. It all starts when you gain life, which forces Sunbond to pump up Scurry Oak with a +1/+1 counter. That counter triggers Scurry Oak's second ability to spawn a Squirrel token, whose arrival on the battlefield prompts Prosperous Innkeeper to hand you 1 life. Because you've just gained life, Sunbond triggers all over again to keep the cycle spinning, leaving you with an arbitrarily massive Scurry Oak, an army of Squirrel tokens, and an infinite life total—all while Prosperous Innkeeper's initial Treasure token sits safely in reserve.
