How it works
- Gain life.
- Basking Broodscale triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
- Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
- When the creature token enters the battlefield, Auriok Champion triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop transforms a single instance of life gain into a self-sustaining engine of growth and resources. It all begins when you gain life, which causes Sunbond to grant +1/+1 counters to Basking Broodscale. Basking Broodscale's own triggered ability responds to those counters by generating an Eldrazi Spawn token, and the very arrival of that token allows Auriok Champion to trigger and replenish your life total. Because that fresh life gain feeds right back into Sunbond, the cycle restarts automatically to flood the battlefield with infinite tokens, counters, and colorless mana.
