How it works

1. Activate Anti-Venom using Deathbringer Thoctar's ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, targeting itself and putting two +1/+1 counters on it due to its replacement effect and Benevolent Hydra.
2. Activate Anti-Venom using Deathbringer Thoctar's ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to any target.
3. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns Agatha's Soul Cauldron into a terrible engine by having it exile Deathbringer Thoctar, granting its activated abilities to any creature you control that bears a +1/+1 counter. Once Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer receives those stolen abilities, it can tap to shoot targets directly while fueling its own counter supply with the help of Benevolent Hydra's replacement effect. Every time you remove a counter to deal damage, the Hydra ensures Anti-Venom gains back more than it spends, leaving you with an unstoppable surplus of power to finish off any foe.
